Terms of Use

1. Provider and Acceptance

These Terms form an agreement between you and Robin Morgenstern, operating as dramiley ("we", "us") for the mobile game "HideZone: GPS Hide & Seek". By downloading or using HideZone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HideZone. If you have not reached the age at which you may independently enter this agreement or consent to relevant data processing under local law, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. HideZone is not intended for children under 13.

3. Proper Use and Safety

GPS readings, maps, positions, zone boundaries and alerts are game aids only and must not be relied on for navigation or safety decisions. You must:

• Stay aware of traffic, other people, animals, terrain, weather and your surroundings.
• Play only in legal, familiar and publicly accessible areas where physical games are permitted.
• Obey local laws, signs, opening hours and instructions from property owners or authorities.
• Never trespass, enter restricted areas or play near traffic, railway lines, water hazards, construction sites or dangerous terrain.
• Never use the app while driving, cycling or operating a vehicle.
• Stop the match if GPS accuracy, visibility, weather or local conditions become unsafe.

4. Private Lobbies, Chat and Conduct

Only share a Zone ID with people you intend to invite. Lobby players may see your player name, role, game actions, chat messages and game-related position. Do not use a full legal name or share an address, school, phone number, financial data or other sensitive information.

You must not threaten, harass, stalk, bully or discriminate; send hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive or unlawful content; impersonate others; disclose private information; spam; distribute malware; cheat; or use lobby information to track or harm another person.

If a player behaves inappropriately, leave the lobby, stop sharing its Zone ID and report the approximate time, Zone ID and player name to dramileydev@gmail.com. We may investigate and take proportionate action where technically possible.

5. Pro Subscriptions

HideZone offers optional recurring Pro subscriptions. The product, price, billing interval, trial terms and included features shown in the Google Play or Apple App Store purchase screen form part of the purchase.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your app-store account and renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal under the store's rules.
• Cancellation: Cancel through Google Play or Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Access normally continues until the paid period ends.
• Restoration: Eligible subscriptions can be restored in the app. RevenueCat validates receipts and manages entitlements.
• Refunds: Request refunds through the store that processed the payment, subject to mandatory consumer rights and the store's process.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory rights concerning digital products, subscriptions, defects, withdrawal or refunds.

6. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use HideZone for lawful private entertainment on supported devices. HideZone's software, artwork, name and logo remain protected by intellectual property law. You retain rights in content you create and permit us to process it only as needed to provide, secure and support the lobby service.

7. Availability and Changes

Temporary interruptions and inaccurate GPS information may occur because of maintenance, network failures, provider outages, device restrictions or technical faults. We may update features or technical requirements for security, legal, compatibility or product reasons. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated as required by law.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, mandatory product liability and expressly guaranteed characteristics. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation and only for foreseeable damage typical for this agreement. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

You remain responsible for choosing a safe play area, following these safety rules, obtaining required permission and acting reasonably in the real world. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using HideZone at any time. An active subscription must be cancelled separately through the relevant app store. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach, unlawful activity, a security threat, discontinued service or a legal requirement.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections in the country where you ordinarily live. Statutory courts have jurisdiction. These Terms do not require individual arbitration or waive mandatory collective or representative remedies.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms for valid reasons such as legal changes, security requirements or material changes to HideZone. Material changes will be presented appropriately and, where required, acceptance or a right to end the agreement will be provided. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
