This Privacy Policy explains how Robin Morgenstern, operating as dramiley ("we", "us") processes personal data in "HideZone: GPS Hide & Seek" and on this website. Contact: dramileydev@gmail.com.
HideZone does not require an email address or social login. However, the app uses anonymous identifiers and processes the data necessary to provide live GPS gameplay, advertising, diagnostics and subscriptions.
Depending on how you use HideZone, we process the following categories:
We process player names, anonymous IDs, location, chat and game state to provide the game under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security and essential diagnostics are processed to provide a reliable service and on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Analytics and advertising are based on consent where required. Subscription records are processed to perform the subscription agreement and meet legal obligations.
Location access is necessary for live GPS matches. If you deny it, you cannot participate in a live round. Chat is optional unless a particular game interaction requires it.
Your player name, role, game actions, chat messages and game-related position may be visible to players in the same private lobby. Only join lobbies with people you trust and do not use your full legal name as a player name.
We use the following providers:
We do not sell personal data. Providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where the GDPR applies, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard offered by the provider.
The app requests the following permissions for the described purposes:
You can revoke permissions in your device settings and revisit available advertising privacy choices in the app. Revoking a permission may disable the corresponding feature.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent for future processing. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
To make a request, email dramileydev@gmail.com. Include your platform and any anonymous Firebase or RevenueCat identifier available to you. We may request limited information to verify that a request relates to you. Do not email precise location histories, passwords, full payment card details or unredacted store receipts unless specifically requested.
HideZone is not intended for children under 13. A user who is at least 13 but has not reached the age at which they can independently agree to these terms or relevant data processing in their country must use HideZone only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians should review live location sharing, private lobby membership and chat risks and supervise the choice of play area.
Do not share a home address, school, phone number, full legal name or other sensitive information in a player name or lobby chat.
This website itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The hosting infrastructure necessarily receives technical request data such as IP address, request time and browser information to deliver and protect the site. The main and download pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which causes the browser to connect to Google and transmit technical connection data such as the IP address. Links to app stores and provider policies lead to third-party websites.
We use encrypted connections and provider access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change.
